Whys it called Naked English? Because its natural and fun, stripped of all the childish pictures/animations and baby talk. This is real English created by a real English teacher; a Japan based Aussie English teacher with 20 years of experience, and widely acknowledged (by himself mostly) as the best English teacher in Tokyo!

This app is so beautiful and simple: you are given a series of phrases, some short and basic, some ridiculously long and/or tricky to say, and your challenge is to say them out loud with 100% accuracy. The apps brilliance lies in the choice of phrases. Theres a real focus on fun and informative phrases that will build a users knowledge base and vocabulary while improving pronunciation and fluency.

Other categories which are monologues or one-liners include business phrases, idioms, and phrasal verbs. All great for building your vocabulary and your feel for natural rhythm/intonation.

Theres also plenty of stuff that anyone, including native English speakers, can enjoy, such as "fun facts" with lots of amazing facts you dont know. Because youre saying the facts out loud you are more likely to remember them, thus becoming 10% more interesting as a person and a tad more fun at parties.

Another great category is Tongue Twisters, as even Native English speakers can have fun trying to get their tongue around these and it can easily be used as a crowd-pleasing party game.

Finally, theres "positive affirmations" which will make anybody, no matter where theyre from, feel better about themselves. Youre saying how amazing you are out loud and then playing it back to yourself. Gotta love it!
